I offer basic support in interpreting genealogical DNA test results and help in understanding their meaning within the context of family history research.

This service is intended for individuals who have received their test results and would like to better understand:

• what genetic matches are and how to interpret them,
• how to analyse degrees of relatedness,
• the differences between autosomal DNA, Y-DNA, and mtDNA,
• how to combine DNA results with traditional archival genealogical research.

I help organise the list of matches, suggest possible directions for further investigation, and advise on how to contact potential relatives.

It is important to note that DNA analysis should complement genealogical research based on archival sources – it does not replace working with historical documents.

If needed, I can also recommend specialists who focus on advanced genetic analysis.

"I was recently trying to find information about my grandparents, cousins and other relatives in small towns in Belarus that likely perished during the Holocaust. Pani was recommended as someone who could assist in my search for information. I reached out to her over email, she quickly replied, and she's been very helpful in finding information that I wasn't able to find on my own. She's been a pleasure to deal with, and I have very much enjoyed our interactions. I give Pani very high recommendations for anyone trying to find information about family members in Eastern Europe."
