Every document is more than just an official record – it is a trace of someone’s life. My role is to help locate it and interpret it properly.

I search for, identify, and obtain historical documents preserved in state and church archives, civil registry offices, diocesan archives, and other institutions that hold archival materials – both in Poland and abroad.

My services include:

• locating where relevant records are preserved (archives, parishes, civil registry offices, the Institute of National Remembrance, and foreign institutions),
• preparing and submitting applications for copies of birth, marriage, and death records,
• assisting in obtaining parish records, residence registration files, military records, identity card files and envelopes, files from the Office for War Veterans and Victims of Oppression (UdSKiOR), and other archival materials,
• handling correspondence with institutions in Poland and abroad,
• translating archival inquiries and official responses,
• analysing and explaining the content of obtained documents,
• deciphering difficult historical records (Latin, Russian, Kurrent script, old Polish),
• advising on the next steps in genealogical research.

I ensure that all applications are formally correct and that every step complies with current regulations regarding data protection and access to archival materials.

Each record I discover is treated not merely as an official document, but as testimony to the life of a real person — a piece of history that deserves to be understood and placed within the story of a family.
